Wealth Matters Independent Financial Planners would like to invite you to a SEMINAR FOR CONTRACTORS/FREELANCERS to be held on Thursday 25th March 2010. The seminar is being co-hosted by Baker Watkin, a PCG accredited accountant.
 
There will be number of key speakers at the event:

• PCG will be speaking about the current work opportunities for contractors as well as topical subjects in the world of freelancing
• A speaker from Old Mutual Asset Managers (OMAM) , will speak about current economic conditions and their view on stock markets and where there are opportunities to make money.
• Baker Watkin and Wealth Matters will be talking about how to plan for the new tax year given the tax rules introduced in the Pre-Budget Report on December 9th 2009 and those coming into effect from the new tax year on April 6th 2010.  The Budget 2010 is pencilled in for March 24th, so we hope to have some hot of the press news with updates on tax planning (timescales withstanding.)  There will also be updates on IR35, income shifting and other topical tax issues.
  

The format of the evening is as follows:

8.30 pm                  Question and Answer session
8.45 pm                  End
