Conference
The Professional Contractors Group is
planning its first annual conference and AGM later this
year. It is planned that the event - to which all PCG members
will be invited - will take place in a Birmingham hotel
on the weekend of October 28/29, 2000.
The provisional programme would run from
lunchtime Saturday until early afternoon on the Sunday and
would include keynote speeches from leading politicians
and businessmen, as well as training and business development
sessions and the annual general meeting. It is also proposed
that there will be a conference dinner on the Saturday evening
with a guest speaker, as well as many opportunities to put
faces to the 'user names' and meet fellow members.
We hope to webcast the proceedings and
details of an ITT to provide this service are available
on the PCG portal; http://www.webtastic.co.uk/portal/ITT.pl?action=Display&ITT;_id=328

In order to plan for this event, it would
be useful if we could have some indication of likely numbers
of people attending. It is likely that the delegate cost
for the conference will be in the region of £100 - although
we will be able to finalise the rate when we have a clearer
idea of the numbers attending.
Further discussions are being held on
the PCG Business thread - https://www.pcgroup.org.uk/threads/showpost.pl?f=PCGbusiness/480&p;=0&v;=c&s;=5
- and additional information will be available on a special
site and through regular newsletters.
To help us gauge interest at this stage,
please reply to this email ([email protected])
with "Interested" as the subject title, if you plan to attend
PCG 2000 Conference by 4th August.
