PCG ELECTIONS 2004
PCG's annual elections for the Consultative Council (CC) are being conducted via a dedicated area of the website until 3 May 2004. The deadline for candidates to put themselves forward for nomination was 12:00 today Monday 26 April 2004, and the full list of 25 candidates who have qualified to go forward to the voting stage can be viewed here, together with a profile and election statement for each.
All full members are eligible to vote via the website between 17:00 on Monday 26 April 2004 and 17:00 on Monday 3 May 2004. There are 17 vacancies this year, and so each member may vote for 17 of the nominated candidates who qualified.
For further information about the elections, see the website and the discussion thread.
ISO9001 - YOUR CHANCE TO BE A FOUNDER
Within the next few weeks, PCG members will receive a prospectus inviting modest investment in a new commercial venture to deliver affordable, credible ISO9001 certification to PCG members' freelance businesses. PCG is currently finalising the details of an offer that it believes will be extremely attractive on several counts, and the prospectus will tell you everything that you need to know before deciding to invest.
When the proposed scheme goes live, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and PCG is reserving the first block of places for those who have registered an early interest. If you have already expressed an interest, at a seminar or by taking part in the online survey (regardless of the nature of your reply), then your place will already have been booked; if you have not but would like to then you can still do so by registering at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=16389432263 now.
This simple offer requires absolutely no commitment from you at all this point, so be sure to reserve your place at the front of the queue now. When you receive the prospectus, you will have a reasonable period of time to read and question it before deciding whether or not to confirm your place as a Founder.
