1st December, 2000 - JR Survey
JR Survey
PCG has commissioned Frontier Economics to conduct an analysis
of the effects of IR35 on the contractor market.
It is absolutely essential that we obtain as much data as
possible to strengthen our case for the forthcoming JR. Please
help us to help you by filling in the survey. It should take
30 to 45 minutes to complete - a pdf version is available for
download so you can prepare answers before completing the survey
on-line. (Contact details for Frontier also available if you
have any questions)

John Harvey-Jones new PCG Patron
Following his presentation at the conference, Sir John Harvey-Jones
has agreed to become a Patron of the PCG. This is great news,
as the backing of such a high-profile businessman will lend
weight to the PCG cause.

Send Christmas Cards
Following the much discussed 'postcard campaign,' contractors
who are currently working abroad because of IR35 are invited
to send Christmas cards back to the UK to demonstrate once again
that the legislation is damaging to the knowledge based economy.
"Gone Abroad" Contractors are invited to send cards to the Paymaster
General, their last MP, former agency and former (blue chip)
client contacts - all of whom claim to be unaffected by contractors
working abroad.
