Elections for CC
Nominations open for the Consultative Council (CC) elections
next Monday, 29th January 2001. Sixteen (16) seats are available
on the Council. The CC is responsible for the management of
PCG and advising the Directors. Within one month of the end
of the elections, the new CC will appoint the new Board of Directors.
(i.e you must be on the CC to serve as a Director). Nominations
will close 28th February.
Voting for the CC elections opens 28th February. A full election

Early success for Portal
The release of the public Portal caused much interest last week
� some 300 PCG members registered profiles for their companies.
If you have not done so yet,

Use your current PCG username and password for access. The
Quickstart Guide for information on getting started with the
Portal. Once you have registered, it is available:

We shall be reporting soon a number of early successes for
the Portal � members are already finding work via PCG�s own
matching service.
We are also encouraging clients to use the Portal to find
independent contractors, selecting from the cream of UK contractors.
Remind your client contacts that the Portal is free and easy
to use and can provide details of individual contracting companies
as well as teams. Clients can find the public Portal at

- NB Automatic emails notifying you if your profile
keywords match client searches (ITTs) will start this week.
You will be notified if your profile matches any searches
or ITTs, so make sure your profile is updated.
