23rd March, 2001 - PCG Elections & Admin

A direct result of the judicial review has been an upsurge in interest in PCG and activity levels on the site. This newsletter provides useful information for new members, and since we are adding new information and services all the time, it will act as a 'refresher' for the many 'old hands'.

In general, we try to make life easy by placing important links on the PCG homepage - try here first! See also https://www.pcgroup.org.uk/members_guide.pdf

ELECTIONS

There is just one week to go before Elections close for the PCG Consultative Council - voting ends 5pm on 30th March. Please take the time to vote - the CC is the first line of governance of YOUR organisation.

The CC appoints the Board of Directors, advises the Board of Directors and shapes the way PCG is run. Please read the manifestos and vote .

LEGAL CHALLENGE

JR result
We do not yet know when the judicial review result will be announced - we expect some time w/c 26th. As soon as we have a date for the announcement we will publicise this via www.ir35update.co.uk and a newsletter.

When the judgement is announced all news will be posted to www.ir35update.co.uk (and not the forums). This is because during the hearing the server ran at maximum capacity - using ir35update allows us to publish the news without overloading the server with the 'heavier' forums.

You can get more information about the legal challenge, and make a donation etc from:
https://www.pcgroup.org.uk/members/legal/index.html

The archived JR hearing reports are at
