29th March, 2001 - CC Elections
Today (Friday 30th March) is you last chance to vote
in the Consultative Council (CC) elections. Voting closes at
5pm.
The future of YOUR organisation will be shaped by the
result of these elections. 24 brave candidates have put themselves
forward for election to 17 CC places. Therefore every PCG member
has 17 possible votes - though you do not need to use them all.
You can find out more about the candidates by reading their
manifestos (linked from the voting pages below).
The responsibilities and powers of the CC include:
- appointing the Board of Directors
- advising the Board of Directors
- the power to call an Extraordinary General Meeting
If you have not already done so, please vote today as the CC
is the first line of PCG. It is up to the CC to appoint the
Chairman and a Board of Directors (BoD), to continue to take
the PCG forward and who are responsible for the day-to-day running
of PCG.
Please read the manifestos and vote
