SUPPLEMENT TO THE VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS

ELECTRONIC PETITION FROM THE PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTORS GROUP (PCG)

29th November 1999

To the Honourable the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Parliament assembled.

The Humble Petition of those members of the Professional Contractors Group and others of like disposition.

Sheweth.

That Her Majesty's Treasury and the E-Minister should give consideration to the plight of those businesses in the IT and engineering industry, whose livelihoods will be threatened by the proposals for the treatment of personal service companies, with the effect that many thousands of these workers may be forced to cease their activities or work abroad.

Wherefore your Petitioners pray that your honourable House shall urge Her Majesty's Treasury and the E-Minister to consider the plight of those members of the PCG and others similarly affected, and to reconsider IR35.

And your Petitioners, as duty bound, will ever pray, &c.;

If in agreement please send email message to [email protected] or [email protected]
Subject: [ir35update] IR35 Petition
