In response to member feedback about training requirements, the
PCG has negotiated training courses for its members from Maven Training.
Creating Careers, Nationwide
Specialising in personal development skills provision on a distance-learning
basis with its vision2learn. Students can learn via the Internet
and a PC, at home or at work, by themselves or interacting with
fellow students in their study group. Qualifications that are Government
funded in England, and supported by a network of Further Education
Colleges. Funded by the Learning and Skills Council, these courses
are normally free of charge to anyone over the age of 16 who has
been ordinarily resident in England for over three years other than
for full-time study.
Maven Training,
London
A specialist PRINCE2 accredited training organisation, based in
London with a nationwide presence. It employs accredited trainers
who are reassessed every three years. They are all experienced project
managers, and therefore able to relate accredited material to real
life situations.
Techpractice,
Guildford
Techpractice are a training company which offers IT Service
Management courses to individuals and to companies. These courses
can either be a standard public certified course or tailor made to
suit.

7Safe Education provides IT Professionals with technical and management
level Information Security training.
Technical courses provide hands-on instruction to enable delegates

The Hacking Insight for Managers course examines the risks posed
to organisations by hackers, giving an understanding of IT security
from an attacker's perspective. Learn how attacks can be thwarted
via the Internet, employees, social engineering and wireless networks.
The BS 7799 Implementation course assists with BS 7799 Information
Security Management System compliance in order to prepare for certification
by an independent auditing body.
