The chairman and directors of PCG are responsible for
the organisation's strategic direction The elected Consultative Council
(CC) appoints the directors from among its ranks and then advises, supports
and informs the board of issues raised by the membership, particularly
in the regular CC meetings.

and are elected via an internet voting system. In addition to the elected
CC, there are various sub-committees comprising volunteer members. These
volunteers complement the overall team activities with their technical
expertise and industry knowledge.
PCG is funded by subscription and its members are legal

years' later to work as a partner in a smaller firm. In 1988, he
joined what was then a two partner firm in London's West End called

The main office is in Finchley, north London, with satellite offices
in both Essex and west London.
When Neil joined the firm, it acted for about
70 IT contractors, all of whom operated through their own limited
companies, and part of his responsibility was to build up that side
of the practice. Berg Kaprow Lewis now looks after around 200 freelance

Neil has witnessed a number of changes, including the introduction
of IR35.
As PCG's newly appointed Finance Director, Neil
